"Carice van Houten's Cat Food"

Minoes (Undercover Kitty) is a Dutch film, based on the children's novel Minoes by Annie M.G. Schmidt. The film is about a woman, Minoes (artfully acted by Carice van Houten), who is actually a cat, set into human form by accident. She lives in a box with a journalist, in the fictional town of Killendoorn. Minoes tries to act like a human being, but still has many cattish manners. She likes to eat fish and meowing on the roof with the other town cats.

Annie M.G. Schmidt was a prolific Dutch writer, especially cherished for her children's books. She is called the queen of Dutch children's literature, praised for her "delicious Dutch idiom," and considered one of the greatest Dutch writers. She wrote two great Dutch Cookbooks: 'Smullen met Otje' and 'Kaapse Raasdonders'. Dutch Only
