The 'Julia Child' of Taiwan
The film features numerous scenes displaying the technique and artistry of gourmet Chinese cooking. The executive food designer of this film was chef Theresa Lin Cheng, who is complimented as “The Julia child of Taiwan” by this films Taiwanese American film Director Ang Lee. (Over 100 different recipes were used in the film).
